I had one for many years, but it started to fail. Can't do without it now.
When I got my new one, one column (the thousand digit) doesn't work. I've written but no response. It's almost useless with the faulty digit.

I have used the royal calculator for many years. It works better for me than any I have tried. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I like very much these check book calculators. I say these because I have had several of them. They all work well but break after about a year. Still I recommend them for folks who have trouble keeping track of their accounts. Well designed checkbook, easy to use. Could be a little bit more durable.

Great product, however I've found that some devices, when connected to the hub won't function properly. In particular, (ATTN DJ's) the serato scratch live hardware will not pass a signal when connected through the hub.

All in all however, its a great piece of hardware, looks slick on my desk and hides a lot of ugly wires.

(Another small note, the LED was red in the unit i received.)

This hub installed and works fine and looks very finished on the desktop. The only problem was cutting the hole for it which was larger than I could do with a hole saw. Also, be aware that there are no output ports on the back (underside) for USB devices that don't have to be frequently connected and disconnected (printers for example). I did not reduce the overall stars for these issues because they were part of the product description. I do rate 'usability' at only four stars because of the tendency for the 'insert' to pop out of the surrounding ring occasionally when a particularly tight plug is removed.

I bought two of these and neither worked properly with my new Mac Pro (2008).

As with many, I have a ton of peripherals and some that I use on top of my desk. The in-desk hubs look good installed, and are a great idea. I hoped that they would replace the clunky hubs with wires draped over the edge.

I drilled the holes into my desk, installed the two hubs, and rewired all the peripherals to take advantage of the new hubs. I had one hooked-up to my PC, one to the Mac. It was after everything was together that I discovered things weren't working right. The only USB devices that worked, were those going through one of the new hubs--the other devices through the other two hubs I had hooked-up didn't work. I then troubleshooted until I found that the Belkin in-desk hub was the cause of the problems. I tried both new in-desk hubs, and both behaved the same. Essentially, if the hub was plugged in, it confused the entire USB system on the computer. It didn't matter if the power was plugged into the hub or not or if there was a device plugged into the hub or not... I also tried different cables between the hub and the computer, and it didn't change anything.

Furthermore, right on the package it says it says a USB 2.0 cable is included. Both that I received had just a USB 1.1 cable included. AND... in the instruction manual, it states that there's a green LED that shows when it is operational and that the light is off when it's not. Instead, the LED is red, which may lead one to believe it's "not operational" rather than simply being misprinted or wrongly built. (And no, it's not a dual-color LED).

So, the bottom line: plus 1 star for the good idea and the possibility that it may work on my PC. (It wasn't working when I first tried, I haven't had time to fully test). Negative 4 stars for the fact that it doesn't work on the mac as advertised, that it resulted in two 3" empty holes in my desk, a useless $20 3" hole saw, a fair amount of time lost in troubleshooting, misleading documentation, 1.1 cable instead of advertised 2.0 cable, and shattered dreams of a clean desktop.

Works good, and the price is hard to beat. I bought two of em - one for the Mac and one for the PC.

No fuss, great value keyboard. I have about 15 of them in my office. No complaints so far.

True to its name, the Logitech Classic Keyboard is a throwback to their heritage; a straightforward model requiring no special software, without any extra keys or controls. The keys have a slightly-firm springy responsiveness with audible feedback (a slight, but non-intrusive clatter).

Compared to the basic USB keyboard that Dell ships with all its desktop PCs, the Classic's keys are springier, the spacing is a little less dense (which fits my fingers better), and the boundary around the actual keys is more asthetically pleasing in contrast to the sparseness of the Dell keyboard.

This model is shaped slightly differently than the otherwise identical Logitech Classic Keyboard PS/2 model; the trim on the side towards the user is a little narrower, allowing proper use of a wrist-rest, which was a minor drawback on the PS/2 model.

This is a basic keyboard with nice feedback and a low price. It's hard to go wrong here.

I bought this to encourage more tummy time but my 4 month old doesn't care much for it. It doesn't stand up well and the handle to start the mouse moving is very hard to pull for a baby.

As previous parents mentioned, this toy was not a big hit during tummy time; my son ignored it when he was really small. I then attached it to his crib figuring at least it looked cute. Then, once he got to be about 5 months old and strong enough to pull the cord, he loved it! He still plays with it all the time and he's a year old now. He loves it when my husband and I try to sing along with the songs.

We lost this toy in a tornado and here I am to buy a replacement! We got this as a gift and I didn't think much of it, but put it in the crib anyway. Definately worth the money and seem to be high quality. All of the allen wrench screws tighen down nicely and hold the wires tight. I actually only used the negative terminal because I was unable to find any other negative terminals for a decent price that had two 1/0 gauge inputs while doing the "Big 3" on one of my cars.

The only real problem is the lack of a protective cover for the positive terminal, which is why I chose to buy and use a different positive terminal.

Overall they look real nice. I purchased them because I was able to connect two 1/0 gauge wires. What I disliked was that I had trouble connecting other wires because the 8 gauge entries were to small. It was my fault I thought the other wires would fit. Also the part that claps to the battery post was to large and it didn't clamp. I'm going to up grade the battery so ill look for a batter with larger battery post.

i bought 2 sets of these terminals and they work great so i got another to upgrade the rest of my wiring now the weakest link in the truck is the battery lol

Let me start by stating that I have nothing personal against Monster Cable. While they do make some nice cables, in some cases they offer no real benefit over inexpensive alternatives. The best example is digital cables. Anyone familiar with IEEE 1394 (otherwise known as I-Link or Firewire) should know that there is built-in error correction that can deal with any small amount of noise introduced into the digital stream. Since this corrects any minor errors, there is NO difference in quality between an adequate digital cable and an outstanding one.

Do yourself a favor and purchase an inexpensive Firewire cable for as little as $4 instead of wasting your money on the $50 version. Out of respect for Amazon.com I am not going to tell you where to purchase, but any resourceful shopper should be able to find them using the search engines.

Now analog cables.....that's a whole different story :-)

I have just returned the Monster IEEE cable [...] after comparing it side by side with an inexpensive [...] cable. It is all marketing hype as far as IEEE link is concerned. {The less expensive} cable worked as good as the Monster Low Noise, Gas injected etc. cable. So do yourself a favor save some money.

Monster Cable makes a lot of great cables. I think they are most known for their stereo cabling which is of much higher gauge than generic speaker cables, and they have great cables for the RCA in and out jacks as well. These are all ANALOG signals, and the extra quality can (and does) make a huge difference.

On a digital connection, ambient interference is automatically filtered out. I don't own this item, but had to say I did in order to write a review. Cheap IEEE1394 cables are just as good. If you want to line the pockets of Monster Cable, replace that junky speaker cable you bought at Radio Shack!

Great to have extra bottles on hand for pumping at work. These are actual medela bottles and the numbers are raised and not printed, but you can easily use a sharpie to make the numbers easier to read. SO MUCH cheaper than buying the xtra bottle set at target which only has a few bottles in it and is the same price.

Looking for bottles I could pump into and freeze that held more than a measly 2.5 ounces. This did the trick.

This thriller has the best prologue I ever read, and the remainder of the book is not far behind. It moves so quickly and cleverly that I had to put it down every few minutes to catch my breath. I hope this will be followed by many more Jeb Willard books.

I enjoyed this book and found myself unable to stop reading once I started. However, I would have preferred if a few less people were actually murdered. I like reading thrillers, but I don't like so much blood-and-guts.

One way I can tell a book is good is when I immediately want to buy it after finishing the Kindle sample. In this case, I didn't even pause before paying my dollar to read the rest.

Another way I can tell a book is good is when I find myself choosing to read it before either books due back soon at the local library or books awaiting a Vine review.

This is such a book. I ended up renewing my library loan of another book, and putting off two Vine book reviews, so I could finish this book first.

Lots of action and suspense. Lots of interesting detail. Lots of interesting human interaction. There's some violence, an occasional bad word, and a bit of sex, but not enough to be unsuitable for teen readers. Held my attention all the way to the end, and only twice did I want to shout at an idiot character for a foolish choice.

Definitely recommended.
